Diabetes mellitus is a common disease that currently affects more than 3 million people in Iran. Many years ago, medicinal herbs have been used to treat many diseases. In this study, the evaluation and comparison of blood glucose lowering agents from different parts of mango (leaf, peel, and fruit) was studied. In this experimental study, 30 adult male rats weighing 220-250 gr of Wistar were selected and randomly divided into 5 case, control, diabetic controls. In diabetic and control groups, streptozotine (55 mg / kg) was injected intraperitoneally to produce diabetes. Then the case groups received mango leaves, fruit and skin (400mg / kg) for 30 day and orally. The consumption of aqueous extract of mango leaves, fruit and skin in the case group was significantly reduced compared to the control group of diabetic patients. the antidiabetic effect of mangiferin possess antidiabetic activity against stz-induced diabetic rats. This current research affirms prominent cytotoxic and moderate hypoglycemic potential of M. indica . Further bioactivity guided isolation of phytoconstituents and investigation on higher animals can lead to development of new drug molecules.

Light olefins, especially ethylene and propylene, are essential intermediates in the petrochemical industry, which are used to produce polyethylene, polypropylene, and other essential products. Olefins can be produced using different processes and raw materials. The method of converting methanol to olefins is one of the processes that has received much attention in recent years. The purpose of this research is to review the mathematical modeling of the reaction and regenerator sections, hydrodynamic simulation, heat transfer, and reaction in the fluidized bed reactor using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), large eddy simulation (LES), for methanol to olefin process (MTO). It is also an examination of effective parameters such as reactor length, reactor flow rate, product distribution, optimal product distribution scenario, and flow rates in a fluidized bed reactor. The increase in the number of reactor stages and the thickness of the reactor stage in the stage circulating fluidized bed riser decreased the ethane yield but increased the yield of propene as compared to the conventional fluidized bed riser.

Metals released to the environment may undergo transformations and have a great impact on water environments, public health, and the economy, which should be dealt with legally due to the serious environmental and health effects of wastewater containing heavy metals. In this paper, the aim is to investigate the removal of Cd2+ and Ni2+ from aqueous solutions by chitosan/polyvinyl alcohol/polyethyleneimine (CS/PVA/PEI) adsorbent prepared with acetone. The effect of various parameters such as pH, temperature, contact time, adsorbent amount, and initial concentration was investigated in static mode. The findings of this study show that the maximum absorption process takes place at a pH equal to 3, an initial concentration of 35 mg/l, a temperature of 25 °C with a contact time of 2 hours, and a speed of 120 rpm. The removal percentage of Cd2+ and Ni2+ by the adsorbent was also tested in dynamic mode. Although both separation methods use the same mechanism, the separation rate in dynamic mode was much faster than in static mode.
